ISAT PREP SITE

Our school district, like all others in Illinois will begin testing with the Illinois Standards Achievement Test (ISAT) in just a couple weeks.  The testing dates are March 4-11, 2008.  The State Board of Education has a new assessment feature that was just added last week for teachers, parents and students. It is an interactive multiple choice test that can be found on the assessment portion of the ISBE website or by going directly to http://metacat2.com/iltestlinks.html. It provides parents and students with an idea of the kinds of questions to expect on the ISAT, which will, hopefully, relieve some test anxiety and help students to be more confident as they prepare to take the test. The ISBE website is http://www.isbe.net.htm.

STUDY ISLAND

 St. Rose School has purchased rights to a web-based program designed to hlep students master topics addressed ont he writing portion of the ISAT Test.  This program is designed for grades 3, 4, 6, and *.  Each student has been assigned a user name and password, and can access the program at www.studyisland.com.
