Hi! My name is Kim Brede. I graduated from SIUE in 1989.  My Masters Degree in Instructional Technology was completed in August of 2000. I have been teaching at St. Rose School for 20 years.  I really enjoy working with the third graders.  I have 5 children and 6 grandchildren. The school year will be filled with opportunities for each child to feel capable, responsible, and valuable. My goal for the year is to plan and implement learning opportunities that create a caring, enjoyable, and supportive climate for a feeling of acceptance, encouragement, and understanding. There is sure to be something to meet the needs and interests of each child. To me as a teacher, nothing quite matches the fulfillment of watching children bloom into proud readers, confident spellers and writers, outstanding problem-solvers, and well-rounded students. I’m looking forward to a successful year.

I along with 3 other St. Rose teachers earned National Board Certification in November 2008.
