Hello! Thank you for visiting my page.

My family and I moved to St. Rose in 1984 and decided to stay because we loved the community with its strong family values and caring environment.  My husband John and I have four children and five grandchildren! 

I graduated from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education in 1990 and began teaching at St. Rose School in the fall of 1991.  I earned my Master’s Degree in Education in 1999.  This year, I am teaching fifth grade in the Middle School as well as some seventh grade classes.  I love teaching Middle School students because they present a unique challenge to create a learning environment that directs their energy and enthusiasm into resourceful and useful accomplishments that they can take pride in.  In 2008, I became a National Board Certified Teacher along with several other teachers at St. Rose School.
