Hello and welcome to my page!
I’m Mr. Scheibel.
I teach 5th-8th grade science classes here at St. Rose. I currently live in Highland, IL with my three puppies Milo, Paisley, and Lucy. As you can imagine, they keep me pretty busy besides my work here at school. In my classroom I have a few more pets: two fish named Goliath and Steve and the newest addition is Twilight, a zebra finch. I guess you could say that I get along well with animals.
As for my education, I graduated from Highland High School in 2003, and from there I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, IL in May of 2007 with a B.S. in Elementary Education and endorsements in Science and Language Arts.
Science is one of my favorite things to do. It’s always changing which makes it an exciting subject to teach. To discover and explore new things, to understand how things work, and to find new cures for disease. What a wonderful thing is science!
By the way, if I’m not at school you may find me hanging out with some kids at First Congregational Church in Highland where I serve as the youth minister. It’s what I love to do in my spare time. Grade 7 Schedule 2010
