Here is a little personal background information.

I grew up in a small farming community, northeast of Champaign-Urbana, and currently reside in Glen Carbon, IL.   I have obtained a Western Illinois University Bachelor’s degree in elementary education, with middle school endorsements in both Language Arts and Mathematics. Continuing with education, I am currently working towards a Literacy Masters from SIUE.

Here at St. Rose School, it is our goal to teach students to become independent thinkers and to realize that education is a continual journey.  I strive to meet the needs of all students; I want each child to learn to identify their strengths and work with their weaknesses. As I enter the school building each day, I work to show my students that motivation and drive are essential for them to reach their potential.
