St. Rose School District 14-15

Hi! My name is Kim Brede. I graduated from SIUE in 1989.  My Master’s Degree in Instructional Technology was completed in August of 2000. I have been teaching at St. Rose School since 1990.  I completed National Board Certification and was certifies as a Master Teacher in November 2008.  I have 5 children and 6 grandchildren. I really enjoy working with  third graders.  The school year will be filled with opportunities for each child to feel capable, responsible, and valuable. My goal for the year is to plan and implement learning opportunities that create a caring, enjoyable, and supportive climate for a feeling of acceptance, encouragement, and understanding. There is sure to be something to meet the needs and interests of each child. To me as a teacher, nothing quite matches the fulfillment of watching children bloom into proud readers, confident spellers and writers, outstanding problem-solvers, and well-rounded students. I’m looking forward to a successful year.
