Subject: Temporary Menu Update Regarding Lettuce Products and Chef Salads

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Out of an abundance of caution regarding current public health and food safety concerns surrounding lettuce, we have made the decision to temporarily pause offering chef salads and any menu items containing lettuce products.

The health, safety, and well-being of our students is always our highest priority. We will continue to monitor guidance from food safety officials and vendors closely. We will resume serving lettuce products and chef salads as soon as we can be completely confident that supplier sources are safe.

In the meantime, our cafeteria will provide fresh alternative vegetables, fruits, and nutritious meal options for all students daily.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we take these proactive measures to keep our students safe. If you have any questions or dietary concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Final Touches & Counting Down to Day One at St. Rose!

Dear St. Rose Families,

Now that the dust has settled on online registration, our full focus has shifted to preparing our building for the upcoming school year.

With just two weeks until our doors open to students, our teachers and staff are putting the final touches on classrooms, hallways and other areas of the building. Desks are being arranged, learning spaces are being stocked, and the building is coming alive to ensure every child steps into a warm, safe, and inspiring environment on day one.

We should have bus routes ready to send out by the end of this week with estimated pick up and drop off times for your family.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation throughout the new online registration process.  Initial parent surveys indicate this process was a favorable way to register your child(ren).  Please make sure to send any documents and/or payments to the office as soon as you are able.  Getting those administrative details wrapped up allows us to direct all our energy toward making this year extraordinary for your children.

The Student/Parent Handbook and Athletic Handbooks are available on our website and should be reviewed with your child.  Please review the attendance policy for unexcused/excused absences that are found on Page 8.  It is the parent’s responsibility to communicate with the office if a child is not in attendance.

We are so excited to welcome our students back and look forward to a successful, joyful, and productive school year at St. Rose Elementary.  Please take note of the following upcoming dates:
