Mr. Ken & Jaydon
When the gray dawn is breaking and the halls are still dim,
Before the first student steps over the brim,
There is Ken.
He’s not a headmaster, nor teacher, nor dean,
But he makes sure the whole building is perfectly clean.
With a vacuum cleaner roar that sings a soft tune,
He banishes darkness and welcomes the noon.
He gets to the spots that the others don't see,
The quiet, essential, reliable key.
Jaydon
The final bell has shrieked its shrill goodbye,
The last bright yellow bus goes rolling by.
A blessed silence settles, deep and slow,
As the day's great, noisy tidal wave starts to go.
Then, with a gentle push, the door swings wide,
And the After School Janitor (Jaydon) steps inside.
The halls are strewn with jackets, forgotten notes, and paper,
A testament to the frenzy from which the peace has to favor.
A few late teachers gather papers, worn and tired,
But his long, steady task is what is now required.
He rolls his cart of buckets, brushes, and strong spray,
Ready to wipe the hectic, hurried world away.

Welcome Henry!
We hope you had a great day visiting St. Rose today! May all your wishes come true!

This in turn will help to guide their decisions as they transition from St. Rose School to high school.

Should you feel the need to connect with other middle school teachers please contact them via email or by phone to schedule a separate appointment.
