Thank you to Southwest Dairy Farmers, Ms. Caroline and Ms. Louise (Jersey Cow) for your time this morning educating students on dairy production products! Everyone walked away with something they learned this morning!

The kids have noticed that the temperature has changed at recess!

Cross country ended their season at the regional meet today. Despite the tough loss, we are very proud of our runners with 10/14 getting a PR today. Great job, Wildcats!

Our first Pep Assembly of the year for our Cross Country runners. It was packed full of cheering fun and games! LET'S GO WILDCATS!

It was a tough race in DuQuoin today with over 200 runners in each race. We had a few PRs & some great runs!

We are excited to share some great news regarding our WILDCAT CUB Playground, which has been specifically designed for our youngest learners (5 and under). We are delighted to announce that the playground is almost complete!
Today marked a significant milestone as our students had the joy of playing on the equipment for the very first time. Their laughter and enthusiasm filled the air, and it truly brought the playground to life.
We only have a couple of finishing touches to attend to: installing a small fence around the area and pouring a concrete pad for a bench inside the fenced space. Once these final details are completed, our playground will be fully operational for our little ones to enjoy safely and comfortably.
We would like to take this opportunity to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the St. Rose Booster Club Officers: Brandy Schwierjohn, Nicki Harrison, Cheryl Timmermann, and Brooke Mollet as well as our 2024 Reverse Drawing Committee, Contributors and Donors!
Your dedication and relentless efforts behind the scenes have been invaluable in turning this vision into a reality.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this project. Together, we have created an amazing space for our youngest learners to explore and engage in outdoor play, which is so crucial for their development.

What better way to learn about mixtures and solutions than make them? 5th grade reviewed mixtures, solutions, physical properties, and chemical properties while making trail mix and lemonade or fruit punch.

As with almost all sports in Clinton County, we had a very competitive conference race for cross country today. We had 9 runners with a PR & a runner in the top 10. Way to go, Wildcats! Next up: DuQuoin fall classic on Saturday & regionals in O'Fallon on Tuesday.

Our custodians at SRS are Top Notch! We cannot say enough about Mr. Ken Kohler and Mrs. Emily Strieker and their dedication to making sure we have a safe and clean working enviornment. Students and staff made cards, banners, breakfast and treats and lined the halls to show their appreciation today on Custodian's Day. THANK YOU FOR ALL THE BEHIND THE SCENES WORK YOU DO FOR SRS!

Cross country had a great day at Kaskaskia College today. 9 runners with top 25 medals and lots of PRs today! We also took time to celebrate our 8th grade runners with gifts. Our official 8th grade night will be during the basketball season in front of a home crowd.

Some great runs at a long 2-mile course today against some very large schools. Some proof at the end that more than just the coach was happy with their runs.

Ms. Faust's students read the story " Double Dutch" and decided to test their skills in the ropes. The students discussed the importance of rhymes/songs to help with their timing.

A tough race in the full sun and humidity this morning for cross country, but we had 8 runners with a personal record! Way to go, Wildcats!
